"Cosa2" high-performance clutch assembly compatible with your Vespa PX 125 Lusso, PX 125 MY, PX 150 MY, PX 200 Lusso, Cosa 125, Cosa 150, and Cosa 200 scooters.

The clutch is based on the proven Cosa2 system, which is known for its high load capacity and smooth disengagement. The clutch basket and internal components are made of high-strength Ergal and precision-machined using CNC technology. The hard-anodized surface ensures high wear resistance, while the material’s low weight reduces rotating mass and ensures a responsive engine response.

The clutch is designed to accommodate up to 10 springs, offering ample headroom for high-performance tuned engines. At the same time, the spring configuration can be individually adjusted to the engine’s power output and the desired clutch feel. This makes the VMC clutch suitable for both sporty street bikes and high-performance touring and racing setups.

In addition to the clutch basket and the clutch base plate with a spacer disc and brass bushing, the package also includes four clutch linings and four separator discs. The plates consist of a special carbon/aramid blend (commonly known as Kevlar) on aluminum backing plates and are based on the proven Honda CR80 plates. The separator discs are made of steel and ensure smooth operation across the entire RPM range. In addition, three different clutch spring sets with varying hardness levels are included: 10 soft, 10 hard, and 10 extra-hard springs each. Instead of a simple pressure plate, VMC includes a ball-bearing-mounted plate. The corresponding nut and washer are included for securing the clutch.

Note: The clutch is not delivered pre-assembled. Clutch linings and separator discs must be installed in the correct order before assembly. For optimal performance, we recommend moistening the linings with transmission oil before installation or soaking them in transmission oil overnight.
