Special electronic capacitor for the breaker ignition system on your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo, and Boxer moped.
The CDI box uses the breaker only as a timing signal source and simultaneously replaces the capacitor. Problems with worn breaker contacts and low-quality capacitors are now a thing of the past. In addition, your ignition coil can generate higher voltages, which has a positive effect on the maximum RPM in heavily modified engines.
Dimensions: 40 x 50 x 30 mm
Advantages of the electronic ignition module:

- maintenance-free
- Higher voltage in the upper RPM range
- Higher RPMs possible than with conventional contact ignition
Installation:
- Install the box near the external ignition coil, e.g., on the engine mount bolt.
- Remove the capacitor from your contact ignition system.
- Connect the breaker to the included yellow wire and route it along the ignition wire to the outside.
- Ground the black wire (e.g., to the frame).
- Connect the original ignition cable to the ignition unit.
- Connect everything to the external ignition coil.

Notes: The breaker gap remains at 0.4–0.5 mm. Make sure the wiring is routed properly within the ignition system so that it isn’t damaged by the rotating flywheel. Your ignition coil continues to supply the same voltage as before, so there’s no need to replace the bulbs.
