Petrol in the blood
His heart beats for mopeds, motorbikes, cars, rocket cars and other discreetly insane projects. Sigg is a doer and an excellent mechanic who takes great pleasure in restoring and converting nostalgic mopeds, motorbikes of all sizes and anything else that can be ridden in the broadest sense - not excluding the occasional explosion and other derailments.
Wrenching isn’t a show
It's work that has to be done properly. Sigg has been standing at his workbench for years doing just that – dismantling, checking, rebuilding and tuning engines until everything fits. When you bring your moped here, it doesn't pass through many hands or many opinions. It stays where experience counts. You don't get a promise, you get a result: a moped that runs, lasts and feels right.
In good hands
Engines for Sachs, Puch and Piaggio are completely dismantled, checked, and cleanly rebuilt here. Wheels are spoked, conversions are planned and implemented, and restorations are carried out with patience. Not according to a formula, but according to condition and requirements.
Why does this make sense? Because experience is key. A reconditioned engine runs more smoothly, lasts longer, and doesn't cause any problems. You save yourself detours, rework, and half-baked solutions. Your moped doesn't come back faster, but better. And that's what it's all about.
So that it rolls smoothly
Frames are inspected, straightened, and properly prepared. Patina can stay if it has character; everything else is professionally restored. No over-restoration, no show builds – just substance that lasts.
Wheels and hubs are completely stripped down, inspected, and rebuilt. Bearings replaced, carefully laced and precisely trued until everything runs straight and free of play. A solid foundation for many honest miles.

Craftsmanship at the highest level
Unrivalled in beauty! The Holy Star - winner of the 2022 International Custombike Championships - is just a work of art from the Siggnature Bikes workshop. The radial engine from aircraft modelling was installed in a completely handcrafted frame and fitted with numerous custom components. In addition to titanium valve lifters and a tank made of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic, this bike is powered by a Sturmey-Archer 3-speed gearbox from the 1920s. On the Siggnature Bikes YouTube channel you will find breathtaking films about the technology installed here.
