Reproduction of the original Puch E50 gearbox, consisting of a clutch basket and a spur gear suitable for your Puch Maxi and Supermaxi P1 moped / moped with E50 and E50A engine.
The original clutch and starter clutch can be used with this basket.
Normal gear ratio of 19:96 teeth with helical toothing.
The helical-toothed gears run more smoothly than straight-toothed gears.
Clutch basket:
- Welded press fit, no spinning possible, even under higher loads
- Special sliding bush is already press-fitted
Spur gear:
- Spur gear made from cast material
- Slightly more solid design than original
Notes: Clutch basket and spur gear should always be used together. There may be a slight "singing" when the clutch basket is used with the original spur gear. This gearbox is suitable for the 3-bearing and 4-bearing housings. Depending on the tolerances, shims may have to be used so that the gear wheel does not rub against the housing. The clutch basket from MBR should not be used together with this spur gear.
